Q: can iTrip and external TV work together??
Here's what I want to configure. Can it be done?
I have a 5thGen iPod. I currently use it in the car with an iTrip connected to the jack on the bottom of the iPod to get the sound through the car's speakers. So far so good.
With 2 boys now, I want to buy an 7" LCD TV - one boy watches the iPod, the other watches the TV, connected to the iPod via an A/V-to-1/8" cord plugged in to the iPod's headphone jack.
Here's the question: When my iPod is set to send the signal out to the TV, will it still send an audio signal through the iTrip to the car speakers?
Thanks!

Yes, the iTrip will send out a signal but you will hear whatever your son is watching.
