There is a freeware utility called Mac Stumbler http://www.download.com/MacStumbler/3000-2094_4-10213945.html that I use on my Pismo to make sure the wireless card is working & to determine what wireless networks are available.

Jan 27, 2009 6:37 AM in response to Texas Mac Manby twillaustin,I was able to download the Ralink driver, but when I tried to download the MacStumbler, the download looked like it was about to begin, then an error message came up saying "Content Encoding Error", the site uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. I got this message on both Mac OS X 10.5 and Windows XP (work computers). How did you get it to download? I will load the Ralink driver and see what happens. Thanks for the information (links).
