I'm connecting my iPhone to the computer I am using and it has never had problems before but suddenly it is. It's been synced with it several times and the settings have not been changed. The computer reads that it's there because the iPhone camera window pops up, but iTunes just won't read it, and what's worse is it completely freezes my iTunes until I restart the computer. I've tried switching USB cords, and I've tried restarting my iPhone and computer, nothing has helped. Any thing else I can do?

try uninstalling and reinstalling itunes. of course you know to back up your music collection first just in case.

your music folder is at C:\Documents\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music

    Hey Snoopy,

I'm having the same problem...did you find a way to fix it or did you resort to not connecting your iPhone to the computer all together

This worked for me after uninstalling and reinstalling itunes.
Open Itunes and in Preferences diasble automatic syncing. also delete any bad videos on the iphone.
Fully restart Iphone(hold down home and sleep button till it reboots), then try to connect again to your pc.

I'm having the same problem but iTunes actually sees the iPhone and tries to sync. I've tried multiple times and have restarted the iPhone, re-installed iTunes and still no luck. iTunes crashes and crashes every time I try to sync or update the iPhone to 2.2.1.

Any help would be much appreciated.
