That would be a defeat for Apple. And I would go back to iWeb 08, and advise people not to use iLife. Changing the font-weight can be done by making a script, but isn't it Apple's job to see to it that what you see when you make your webpages in iWeb is the same as what you get from the net on your own computer? I assume that Apple will tackle this matter. This problem of fat characters has only got worse with iWeb 09, it was all right with iWeb 08. So it must be easy to revert to that same practice.
I have the same problem (using iWeb 08) but I'm not sure what you mean by tweak the output code for iWeb. Basically I'm having the same issues as the others, some my fonts do not come over on PC browsers. One weird side note is that the missing fonts are not consistent. For instance the font Cretino comes in for me fine when it's used on say 18pt but when I use it on say 36pt the font is not displayed on PC Browsers.
