Q: Faces not showing up on cork board

I have named 4 faces in my library but they are not showing up on the cork board. I am still getting the default sample picture. The info window shows a date range, 4 photos and a size of 10.3 MB. Is there a delay if you have a lot of images? I have 91k and it took over 20 hours to scan the library for faces.

I am going to try this as well since I'm having the same problem. I have about 20k photos in my library so it may take a while. :P

I upgraded to iPhoto09 from CD.

I was having the same Faces problem as described above - naming them and then having only one face appear on the cork board; previously named faces disappearing etc.

Deleted the 2 files referred to - faces.db and face_blob.db, restarted iPhoto and a whole screen telling me it was checking pics for faces came up. This certainly didn't run when I did the upgrade to iPhoto from the CD. So hopefully when it finishes in 300 minutes it will have solved the problem.

Thanks to this forum for the advice.
