Q: Movie Rentals

Rented movies from iTunes don't show up in Front Row. Is there an update? It seems the whole purpose of the app is to allow you access to all your content.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions!

Rented movies from iTunes have not yet worked inside Front Row. I believe this is because you MUST interact to agree to watch the movie and the movie is deleted after watching by iTunes. Front Row cannot change the content of your iTunes or iPhoto. Until this functionality can be added to Front Row, I wouldn't expect it to be able to play rented movies.

anyone know if we can expect to see this functionality anytime soon? It seems like this functionality should have been present when they announced that rentals would become available via iTunes on the mac. What's the point of Front Row if it can't give you control over everything in your library, including rentals. Personally, I would think it would be pretty slick to hook up a mac to a HDTV and use FrontRow to rent movies.
