Currently Being ModeratedApr 10, 2009 3:31 AM (in response to macquarius)I wonder if there is something going on at Apple 'cause the shipment period is changing from 24 hrs to a few (2-3) days and than back again to 24hrs. For the Dutch Online Store that is and only for the 15" UMBP. For the 17" UMBP it is still 3 days (for weeks now). On the US Online Store the three UMBP models are still available within 24hrs...Hope to buy a 17"UMBP soon, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Currently Being ModeratedApr 12, 2009 3:13 AM (in response to bridgeta)@ bridgeta: This is old news, the firmware update was released somewhere late March.
Therefore the remaining questions still stand:
"Are there any new counts with some sort of 9600M GT issues after the update?" and
"Are there any performance changes (degrading) since the update?"
The only sign I see is that after the firmware-update there are no frequent postings anymore on this particular topic, so hopefully we can conclude: "no news, good news."Hope to buy a 17"UMBP soon, Mac OS X (10.5.6)
Currently Being ModeratedApr 12, 2009 10:53 AM (in response to macquarius)All of my issues have been address with this firmware update. I consider this topic closed.
Now if Apple would just deal with the min-DVI - to dual link DVI adapter issues I'd be a happy camper.Unibody 17" MBP 2.93 Intel Core Duo / MacPro 2 x 2.66 Dual Core Xeon, Mac OS X (10.5.6)
