"Share to iTunes" produces error in itunes; Attempting to copy to disk...

"Share to iTunes" produces error in itunes; Attempting to copy to disk "Macintosh HD" failed. The required folder cannot be found".

any ideas?

    I just encountered the same problem with the first movie I shared to iTunes. I don't have an answer but I fixed it. Here's how.

    Go to Movies-> iMovie Sharing -> iTunes -> your file

    Click on your file and it'll start to play in iTunes. Quit the movie and look in iTunes movies and it should be there. Everything should back to normal.

    An interesting side effect. About a year ago I bought a movie from my Apple TV. It would not transfer back to iTunes. Over the last yer I have tried almost everything but no luck. When I did the above and went to iTunes movies there it was transfering to iTunes. It took a few minutes but it now resides in my iTunes movie Library.

    Go figure!!
