I bit the bullet and bought the 3.0 update for my first generation iPod Touch today. I am disappointed. I have the following problems/irritants:

I can't turn off key clicks!
(Didn't there used to be a toggle for this in the Settings/General area? Why has it been removed?) Is there another way to turn off the keyclicks?

One of my apps has an icon from a previously uninstalled app!

The A-Z index tabs along the right side of long lists are gone (why?)

One of my applications (Classics - ebook reader) won't install at all.

    "sounds" is there for me.
i had a problem with the app logos swapping over, but a sync fixed that.

today my 'double-click' to get in-app music controls stopped working. restored it, all fine. restoring fixes many things.

yes, restore can fix some issues, but that's the last resort (other than returning the Touch to a store or directly to Apple).

    First things first:

    1) Reset

    2) Reset all Settings

    3) Erase all conte

    3) Restore
