This afternoon I fired up my Mac Pro after a one week hiatus.

The system has several HDs connected to it, but only one is giving me the message in the Subject line +for every single file I try to save to it and every file I try to copy from it+. Yet if I try to save files to the other drives, there is no problem; likewise copying from other drives to other drives. The drive in question contains copies of all of my software. The file I was trying to save to it was Lightroom 2.4.

I ran the drive through Disk Utility and it claimed the drive seemed to be healthy. The drive is approximately two years old and has been running between 50 and 75% of the time the system is on.

Any thoughts as to why this may be happening?
