    Hi Inuyasha KJ;

    Can you provide use with more details as to exactly what you are doing? With the amount of information you have given us there is not much we can tell you.

    It would be a good thing for you to use "My Settings" to fill in information about what you use; such as version of operating system, type of Mac, amount of RAM. This information is a great help for use to better understand you and your situation.

    "Clear Recent Searches" is gone in v4.0.3 of Safari from the Google text entry box's pull-down.

    Now, the only way to clear recent searches is to clear the entire history when before, there was a separate and convenient location to do this.

    Well that's a bummer. I just logged in to ask this very question, but I see I'm not the only one who noticed this. I wonder why Apple removed this? I liked having it. Bummer!!!

    I also cannot clear my recent searches. Safari 4.0 HAD "Clear Recent Searches" in the Google search field drop down list. In 4.0.3 it is gone.

    I'm annoyed by this as well. When the Safari 4 beta was released and didn't include this feature, I was really perplexed. I was very happy, however, to see that it was in the final release version. Of course now I'm again wondering why it's been removed in 4.0.3.

    Please bring the clear recent searches back from the drop down bar... it is so handy to have it.

    I agree. I really miss the Remove Recent Searches in the Google search tool. Bring it back! Why was it even removed? Is anybody at Apple even listening?
    Safari 4 was a big step backwards.

    Yes, definitely BRING BACK CLEAR RECENT SEARCHES! Why did they take out a useful feature for no reason?
