I have a 1st gen Mac Pro (2x2.66 - purchased Jan 07) with an ATI X1900 graphics card running OSX 10.5.8.

Have recently purchased a Nvidia GeForce 8800GT graphics card from a dealer on Ebay to replace the ATI X1900. Upon installation the Mac Pro refuses to Boot with five chimes being heard followed by a short silence and then a further five chimes. This continues in a loop. When switching back to the ATI X1900 card the Mac Pro works perfectly.

The GeForce 8800GT is Apple Part No MB560Z/A and the card itself has the number 630-9492 both of which lead me to believe that the card should work with my Mac Pro. Any ideas what could be wrong?
