Started programming in 1980 and merged coding with arts. Wrote my own graphics software until there was no point. Spent 10 years doing 3D from 1988 including design. Have coded across many languages, do it only if critical now a days.
Established the first university level 3D course in the state at QUT in 1991 and was a tutor with the QLD college of art and Griffith university until 1994.
Invented a range of technology solutions and platforms covering a span of industries, most focus on communication and community building. Ongoing..
Since 2000 I have assisted emerging artists, non-profit and community groups in arts and environment with business systems, process and communications.
Currently I am building a social enterprise for sustainable regional arts called Pop Cinema. A mix of film, music, theatre, food and community. I also work at a regional peak body for arts that presents an annual arts festival.
Personally I am exploring time-lapse and stop motion techniques and their use as a communications tool, in particular telling the relationship story of the land over distance.
Over 2012 I am attempting an audacious plan, see if anything comes of it.
