| Biography: | In my youth, I travelled a little. The best times, on bicycle across France … a long contemplative stay on the campsite in Dijon, and la vendange in La Chapelle-de-Guinchay. Memories of unfermented Beaujolais and more make me smile. One day I might drop everything and travel again, never to return. // In 1988 I moved from Essex (Benfleet, Westcliff) to East Sussex (Brighton and Hove). For three years I worked with local direct marketing/design agency IMC. // In 1992 I began work at University of Brighton with two groups: Centre for Business Research (CBR) and Centre for Management Development (CMD). // CBR evolved into CENTRIM — the Centre for Research in Innovation Management, currently collocated with SPRU (Science and Technology Policy Research) at the Freeman Centre on University of Sussex campus. // Still at CENTRIM, I'm now within the Brighton Business School technicians group. |
