Ralph's Grocery Company (all shifts, promoted to Retail Clerk 770), USC Pharmacy School (1980-84, Pharm.D.), Clinical Residency in Ambulatory Care 1984-85 (Certificate, USC/LAC-USC Medical), Worked as pharmacist, promoted to Clinical Pharmacist (1991) at Harbor-UCLA. Co-authored the "Pharmaceutical Cost-Recovery and Studied Public Health at UCLA (MPH 1995-97) Health Care Administration, studied at The Anderson School at UCLA -Business Administration/General Management (MBA 1997-1999). Transferred from Harbor-UCLA to LAC Administrative HQ as Clinical Pharmacist (2000) to plan, complete the first digital/Internet-version (and analog handbook) Los Angeles County System-Wide Drug Pharmacy Formulary Internet-based (2000): left LA County to start DestinationRx, a new concept (comparative drug store pricing -inventories, robust shopping, pricing, drug information for customers in 2000). Applied/accepted as Pharmacy Manager for the Free Drug Clinic (Cedar-Sinai & Benefactor-based Dispensary) 2001, applied/accepted as Associate Drug Manager at The City of Hope (2001-2002) accomplished many major projects in short time, received a top JCAHO Accreditation Score, implemented Pyxis Connect, Profile, Phaseal Chemo-admixture system (fully USP 797 compliant BEFORE ANY regional hospital in 2001): rejoined LA County Service in 2002 as Clinical Pharmacist with the Office of Managed Care/Community Health Plan wrote, rewrote the Policy and Procedure Manual interfaced completely with Los Angeles County's six hospital and regional formularies. CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC HOSPITALS, San Diego, CA, 1998 HONORABLE MENTION: A Pharmaceutical Cost-Recovery Program to Serve the Indigent Population; recognized by the six Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Scroll of Recognition for my achievements. More…the project (Cost-recovery) has been much copied, but the most important thing was that it was recognized by California and by Los Angeles County as having recovered millions and millions of (dollar value) free product for indigent patients.
