Born in Twickenham, UK; Moved to Gold Coast (Ghana) aged 6 months until 8 years old, then Bechuanaland (Botswana) until I was 22. Studied at King Edward's School, Witley (boarding) and then Chelsea School of Art, London. 1971 Formed design group Campbell/Kinsey. This became QED Publishing Ltd. which was acquired by Quarto Group in 1976. Served as director and Creative Director, Quarto Group 1977-1989. 1990 co-founded Digital Wisdom Publishing Ltd, publisher of Mountain High Maps (Macworld Editor's Choice ("Eddy") award 1996). 2000 Co-founder, Publisher and Creative Director of The Ilex Press Ltd, publishing books on all manner of digital art, design, photography and pop culture. In 2014 Ilex Press was acquired by The Octopus Publishing Group (part of Hachette).
