Spent a bit over 26 years in the AF doing language stuff. Spent 28 years after that doing computer stuff. Got started in Macs in 1989 with A/UX, doing some development and a lot of configuration. Was involved in MacOS X from the beta days, and involved professionally from the 1.0 days. Wrote some scripts to help those poor souls who tried to make OS X look like MacOS 9 by messing with permissions. Kept them updated until Jaguar was released, when Repair Privileges became more or less usable. Been mainly a user since then.
