BioHi everyone!
I've been an Apple enthusiast since the first iMac in 1998.
As you might guess I have had a good number of Apple products including the original iMac. It cost $1,299 which is equivalent to $2,400 in today's money. I've also had the pleasure to own a TiBook, a number of iMacs including an iMac DV SE, a TiBook (very cool!), a lot of iPads of various models and a PowerBook, circa 2005?
I've had most models of the iPhone. Does anyone remember how horrible the cellular networks were back then? Lots of dropped calls. And accessing the Internet over cellular was excruciatingly slow!
My career was in IT. I was an IBM mainframe computer operator, a COBOL Developer for nearly 30 years and I was a Project Manager for about 6 months. I hated it. I was lucky my manager was understanding as she let me return to my old job. I was also allowed to retain my salary and I was promoted to the top level of development.
Overall, not too shabby if you ask me.
Peace out.
