Battery Capacity?

What would lead you to believe the capacity would be a problem? Short battery life? I believe that is quite normal for the capacity of the MacBook battery

That is an acceptable capacity for the MacBook. How many cycles does your battery have on it?

Acceptable? It was my understanding that 100% capacity for macbook batteries was exactly 5200 mAh.

There is actually a range. Mine is sitting at 5510 but my other battery pack set at 5250. You also have to take into consideration how often the battery is calibrated as this can change this reading due to drift. The reading in your computer is not 100% accurate.

The 5200 mah is in a perfect world which sad to say we don't live in.

I just checked something out. Taking the information posted on the MacBook battery for voltage (10.8V) and power (55W) you will come out with 5093 ma.

By the formula ( I=P/E ) this comes out below the 5200 mah you stated.

The "cycles",26 in your case,refers to how many times the battery has been discharged and recharged.
This number will increase with use.

Yes this is OK. How often do you run your battery down completely?
