To have video in buttons?

To have video in buttons?

I am relatively new to DVDSP4 and my question is this: to have my buttons show 15 secondss of the video they link to, do I have to create a new segment (of 15 second footage for each chapter) in FCE and import it specifically for the button use? I cannot seem to do it any other way and was hoping for a shortcut....thanks.

powermac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

The shortcut is to export with Chapter markers, bring into DVD SP, add it to a track then drag the track to the menu where a pop up will let you add chapter buttons

The better way is to compose and composite outside of DVD SP like you were going to do, more work but more control 🙂
