Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X

I'm trying to install Media Player 9 onto my MacBook. I download it, but when I click on it, it says, "There is no default application specified to open the document "Windows Media.sitx".

You need to download the free Stuffit Expander from <http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/> to open the compressed file.

Windows Media Player for Mac was discontinued well over a year ago and Microsoft recommends using the free Flip4Mac software instead. Have a look at this page on Microsoft's website.

Hope this helps! bill
