iPod Nano buttons don't work anymore...

My iPod Nano is powering up, charging, syncing, and restoring fine, but I cannot get it to recognize the buttons, thus I cannot use it. When I try to turn it on, I get nothing. So, I have tried all of the ususal options and nothing is working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
