calibrate battery?

Hi, should i calibrate my macbook battery? The store owner told me no need to calibrate.... any inputs? as to yes or why not?

mac mini 1.25 ppc 1gig ram, Mac OS X (10.4.8), pentium 4@2.4ghz 768mb ram

Yes you should calibrate. It helps prolong the life of the battery if done correctly and helps keep the internal battery meter working better.
