Can't copy .dat file for MSI Library on any drive!

Hey, I just cleaned out my drives down to uninstalling all my sample librarys and re-installing them. The only library I had trouble re-installing was Motu Symphonic Instrument. I can't get the .dat file to copy to any one of my hard drives, internal or external. It copied to my wife's PC, so something on the Mac isn't right. I've tried re-formatting the drives to OS Extended and OS Exteded (Journaled), etc...but nothing seems to work.

I contacted MOTU support with this, but since the disk loads on another computer they're done helping me. ********...anyway, I have other libraries with .dat files that loaded just fine. MOTU suspected the sise of the MSI.dat was the culprit, but they (MOTU) weren't helpful in this. Anybody got a fix? Please?

G5 Dual, Mac OS X (10.4.9), Apogee Ensemble, 5GB Ram
