madmax2170 - Try lowering the burn speed by going to Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning. Since most of the drives burn speeds show up as '4', I'd start by setting the burn speed to 4, and then start testing from there. Also, I'd recommend updating iTunes to 7.2 (apple.com/itunes/download)

Audioholic++ - Same recommendation. Except, you should try starting around '8'

I had this error for over a year. I tried everything anyone suggested and nothing fixed it. It got to the point where i couldn't burn cd's or dvd's with any program. I finally had to uninstall itunes which is a shame because I really liked the program and I had over 1Gb of itunes purchases. I was just checking back to see if anyone had come up with a real solution to this problem as it's been a few months since I checked. So far, the only fix I have found is to uninstall itunes.
