QT picture viewer Failing to open

Using the most recent downloadable version of quicktime+iTunes, I am unable to open the Picture viewer.

Picture Viewer just keeps one crashing when the "upgrade to pro" window is supposed to pop up, and let me continue, insteads it crashes and windows pops up with its error dialog saying it has encounter a problem.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
