Acquisition vs. SoulseeX

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area. What are your opinions on Acquisition vs. SoulseeX? Should I just completely forget about P2P and get on a torrent? If so which one? I'm a new mac user so I'm not trying to trash mine with some bogus software. Thanks for the help.
