saving space
how can i save space on my hard drive? for example zip folder do they save space? please give me other recommendations.

Archive to FireWire. You can find Firewire cases that use hot swap drive trays and give you the option to add additional drives just adding a $25 tray giving you unlimited 500GB "floppy." 😉
