ReplaiGain for iPods

Hi again 😉

Are there any plans from Apple to implement ReplayGain support for the iPods?
I know that Apple has its own propreitary solution (SoundCheck) but ReplayGain is superior in many ways.

Support in what way? Do you mean will they ever implement it as a feature?

There are many of these programs around (like mp3/aacgain or iVolume). Why would Apple choose to support Replay Gain?
