Can't install tux-paint for kids imac...??

We have just bought a second G3 imac... (300mhz...i think?) it came loaded with OSX 10.4.... and everything on it appears to work fine, but when i try to load on tuxpaint for the kids, it keeps throwing up an error that it has unexpectedly quit and prepares an error report for sending to apple...??

We loaded the exact same onto our daughters G3 400 OSX 10.4 with no probs...???

Anybody got any pointers...?

Thanks

10.3.9 MacOS Update is the link to the updater. 10.3.9 MacOS combo Update is the Combo updater, and probably the one you need unless you are already at 10.3.8. These are big files. 'Hope you're not on dial-up!

Download it to your machine. Click open the installer and follow the prompts. Be sure you know your Administrator Password. You'll be asked for it.

If you want the updater on CD (along with a lot of other stuff) it's available here - apple rescue - link on the Updater item.

Try updating the OS to 10.3.9. Tux Paint is supposed to work with 10.3 and up, but you should update just to be more current. Also, how much memory do you have installed? According to the Tux Paint website, you need a bare minimum of 16MB free...that shouldn't be problem, but check in Activity Monitor to make sure you have at least 16MB free before you start playing. The more, the better.

sorry if this sounds silly, but as i say.... this is all new to me.... thanks in advance.... Paul
