Google analytics and flash

Question

Google analytics and flash

Flash usually works for me, but Google analytics has several flash objects on the same page, and that seems to spin up Safari's CPU usage to at least 70% permanently.

Does it work properly for other people? Has anyone tweaked something to make it work, and in that case, what was the trick?

Safari 3 beta still needs a lot of optimizations and improvements. Flash support indeed causes high CPU usage for me.

Google Analytics works for me in Windows Safari. I'm on 3.0.2.

Although, now that you mention it, I do remember it locking up one time. It hasn't happened again, though.

My major problem is printing... it will print 8/10 times, then crash the other two times.

Firstly I never thought to check my CPU readout while using Safari on XP I usually just have a CPU meter in the top bar on Mac so I usually used that.

I just check and yeah Analytics does run the CPU up quite a bit but like said above it is probably just a bug to be sorted out for final release.

My major problem is printing as well. You say that it crashes for you 8/10 times. It crashes for me everytime I go to print. Hopefully that issue gets fixed before final release in October.
