Panasonic AG-DVX100B vs. Canon GL2

Well I am an Inspiring Music Video Editor and I am caught Between The Panasonic AG-DVX100B or Canon GL2 I'm Caught In a Tight one Here See My Mentor told me that the GL2 is a Great Camera For a Great Price and I have worked on it Before. But For some reason the Advisors Here Recomend the Panasonic. I'm not in a Great Squeeze for money But I want the Best Quality at a Great Price. But then again who doesn't A LITTLE help Please??

No contest. I've extensive experience with the DVX, GL1/2 (XM1/2 over here in the UK), XL1 and other 1/3"CCD cams in a variety of situations, documentary, drama, ENG, music video, live music, corporate, wedding etc, etc and the DVX is far and away the best overall for any of these situations.

Balanced XLR audio for the DVX, unbalanced minijack for the GL.

Infinitely better LCD pullout screen on the DVX - the image snaps into focus much easier than the (smaller) screen of the GL.

Manual Zoom on the DVX for those funky MTV crash zooms.

DVX can shoot progressive for the film look (sort of) if that's your thang - can't do that on the GL.
