we're getting that problem here as well. my phone activated right away with no issues, but my wife's phone gave us this message. it's been at least 15 minutes now, if not more, and we're getting impatient.
It could be worse, my iPhone won't let me transfer my number from TMobile. It just says "The phone number you entered cannot be transferred. You must uncheck the transfer number option and clear the information in the text fields to continue." Worse off, I want a good explanation for this, not some dinky you have to tell everyone you know what your new number is.. ugh... and yes i have triple checked all my info.
yeah, while I loved the idea of activation at home, now I wish I was standing face to face with someone who could help me. the activation process is great if it works, but if you have a problem what can you do? the computer is pretty blunt about some things, and it doesn't offer to help you figure it out.
my phone has finally finished syncing. about 5.4gb took around 15 minutes I believe. I just wish my wife's phone would get activated, as it's kind of ruining our evening. that was a long day of sitting in the sun to go through this now.
Same thing here -- (but i'm switching from Verizon so it's to be expected (It didn't tell me i couldn't transfer my number or anything) -- but i can't use any of the features of the phone until it gets activated. Even though the manual tells me i can use all of the features before it gets activated.
