Problen Pairing Jawbone Headset and iPhone

Anyone having problems pairing Jawbone headset and iPhone? I get a paired status but then the device wheel keeps spinning .... The Jawbone thinks it's paired but the phone doesn't. I've tried like 30 times and got it to work one. The Jawbone worked fine with my Sony/Ericsson.

Thanks!

Worked here the second time for me.

I think the proper process was to put the jawbone in discover mode BEFORE putting the iPhone into searching for it mode. After it pairs, the wheel keeps spinning...just exit the settings and try to make a call. You should get a pop up audio menu asking if you want to use Jawbone, iPhone or Speaker audio.

I read through my jawbone directions thoroughly before trying to pair it with the iphone, and it says that you should make sure the jawbone is OFF, turn iphone bluetooth on and is discoverable, THEN hold down the large button on the face of the jawbone until it blinks white. I have been using my jawbone for about three weeks now and it has been working and pairing with iphone perfectly. So just make sure you turn bluetooth on first, then try to turn on the jawbone after that. Please let me know if this ends up working for you!

yup, i do all that... and my jawbone works just fine with the iphone...

the only issue is that "spinning wheel" next to "devices" under the "bluetooth" category on the iphone. it seems that would be a huge draw on the battery for it to keep looking for devices, when it already is paired with my jawbone.

I was able to pair my jawbone once with my iphone. I turned my jawbone off, and was never able to get the Jawbone to work again. I tried to re-pair it with the iphone with no success, and now I cant pair it with any Phone. I have had my Jawbone for at least 3 months and never had this kind of issue with my blackberry pearl. I have done everything that i could think of even restoring the Iphone back to its default via itunes and still cant pair the Jawbone. I have been able to successfully pair it with a Jabra JX10, several times. So I am not sure if the problem lies with iphone or with jawbone. Any help would be appreciated

So just wanted to post my approach to this problem. I love my jawbone. it has amazing sound quality. recently when apple sent out the software update to the iphone it wiped my iphone and required that i fully restore the settings from my computer. i did so but discovered that all of my bluetooth headset pairings had been deleted. i tried to restore it using the approach suggested in the support materials but received a constantly spinning wheel with the message "not discoverable." jawbone was recognized but said "not paired." jawbone kept timing out on the discovery sequence. finally i shut off the bluetooth function on my iphone and then turned off my jawbone device. i turned iphone back on and then activated the pairing function on the jawbone. on the iphone i exited the bluetooth menu (still spinning eternally). once i did that i activated my jawbone. on the iphone the menu to input the password came up. i input "0000". meanwhile back on the iphone bluetooth menu there was still endless spinning but now my jawbone was listed as "paired". exiting that i went to make a call to my vm and was gratified to see "audio" replace "speaker" in the upper righthand corner. hope this helps.
