to-do or not-to-do

Am I crazy?
How come iPhone's iCal counterpart doesn't support synching the to-do items?
I refuse to input to-do items as timed events or all-day affairs.
Do-it-all iPhone ought to be able to carry to-do items entries, no?

It doesnt, nor does it sync notes. Two glaring omissions in my opinion. A future release of iPhone software maybe? One can hope...

I'm using Notes to create ad hoc To Do lists but this is very weak. I also can't use all day events as I use that for other things - bookings and such that are truly all day events. Oy oy oy.

Apple, it needs help!

You could email yourself lists, then they're at least "backed-up/sync-ed".

Apple had an insanely great Notes & collapsible checklist/outliner feature on the Newton, I wish they'd duplicate that!

I am afraid you are not! As much as the iPhone is awesome for internet, iPod and so on, it's a terrible productivity device.

1) No To Do's.
2) No notes synch.
3) No support for an eWallet type of application. Until now, these allwed me to have all the information I needed when I needed it...

I can only begin to hope Apple does something FAST about this... I just spent USDs 600 and have a smartphone (?) that does not support to do's?
