Help with changing the shuffle setting on iphone

could you please be more specific besides "having a lot of trouble"

please state what exactly is happening or not happening based on what you are doing...thanks

play a song in the upright position
tap on the top portion of the album artwork
you will see the time bar appear with repeat and shuffle icon
select the shuffle icon to get out of shuffle

How exactly do you want to change the shuffle icon? It's purpose is to shuffle songs...
