Sprint Phone Still Getting Calls

I have activated my iPhone and received the email saying that my old Sprint number was now assigned to my new phone.

But this morning, I still received calls to my old phone and SMS messages as well.

I can make calls out it doesn't seem as if my number has switched over to ATT.

Has this happened to anyone else?

G4 Tower, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

It will still take a little while. The updates have to work their way thru all the systems to update routing tables.

My timeline was this:
7:51 PM on Fri - attempted activation thu iTunes
7:51 PM on Fri - got the "24 hours email" that my current service would be disconnected at 7:51 or later on Sat
12:54 PM on Sat - got the email my number transfer was complete
9:00 PM on Sat - calls to my number finally went to my iPhone (not really sure when it started, but it was after 8 PM)

you need to power off your sprint phone and then iphone, only power back on iphone and then complete test calls. believe i work for att i know!

You may still be in Mixed Mode... basically, iPhone's activated, but not everything on Sprint's end is as cut and clean. I'd suggest keeping the Sprint phone around, and every once in a while calling your wireless number to see which phone rings.

I assume this is the case for SMS as well.

I still can't receive text messages on my iPhone except for the ones I get from ATT.

Weird.

Yeah. My old Sprint phone has been off all day long. My bro tried to send me some text messages but I didn't get them.

I am assuming it will take a while for that to switch over as well.

I can now get phone calls but not SMS.
