1. Put it in a Zip-Lock

2. Flush

no, but the apple store will replace it, dry it as best as you can clean it good.

Yes, it was activated with no sim card. I dropped it into my pool today and now I am trying to dispose of it!!! Thanks for your reply.

I am going to try to repair it myself. I am guessing that I can get a new logic board pretty soon.
