iPhone + iHome?

Will the iPhone work with an iHome to play music?

(I bought it in February)

Try plugging in the iPhone to the ihome it will come up with one of two messages

( This Accessory is not supported by iphone ) - Will not work if this message comes up.

( This Accessory is not made to work with iphone ) - If you get this message it will give you the option to place the phone into airplane mode.. If you say yes to that option the iphone might work with the ihome.

Oh I'm sorry, I should say that i havent bought one yet. I was just asking if anyone knew if they were compatible.

I have successfully used my iHome with my iPhone. It also works with Apple's iPod Hi-Fi.

It does work, though I seem to remember it not being able to go into iPod mode to wake you.

It plays music, and all the buttons work, everything seems fine... but when it's time to wake up, I seem to remember it just beeping at me, as it would do if there were no iPod connected.

After the first Update it now works perfectly fine and does not display the "not made for iPhone" error or whatever. It responds to all the inputs of the iHome but it must be put on "airplane" mode preventing it from making or receiving phone calls and using the internet. I dont know why but this keeps it from making the iHome produce a buzzing noise apparently related to the interference.

my iphone does not work with the ihome, it charges it but dont trust is to wake you up
