Runtime Error in itunes

Hi all,

I have itunes 7 loaded on my PC and have had so for a while. Up till now its been operating fine. Toady when i tried to open it i got the following message:

Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program C:\Program Files\itunes\itunes.exe

I can see itunes in the background, but i cant get into it and when i click on the ok button on the above error message it shuts itunes down.

I thought maybe i need to uninstall itunes and then download from the net? But if i do this will i lose all my tracks and album art and playlist info as well??

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. I should've dont this first up, but i Googled my problem and i went to the following site:

http://forums.techguy.org/multimedia/581031-itunes-runtime-error.html

Which had the answer. So for those of you who have similar issues all you need to do to fix it is:

1. Go to Start/All Programs
2. Find Apple Software Update
3. And then run.
4. Restart your PC

Once i did the above everything came up smelling of roses.

Cheers!
