some contact pictures and album covers not syncing

I spent my time in line waiting for the iPhone making sure that all my albums had cover artwork in iTunes on my Mac and that all my contacts had pictures. The albums that the iTunes Store didn't have, I found on the Internet and pasted into the artwork section under get Info for the album. When I synced with iPhone, all the songs/contacts were synced, but in cover flow a small percentage of the albums still show the ? symbol instead of the artwork (the coverflow on iTunes looks fine). Also some of my contact images are not displayed on the iPhone, but look fine in my address book. Anyone else noticed this?

MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.6)
