Calls going straight to voicemail while using Safari

My incoming calls are going straight to voicemail when I'm using the internet. Is this normal? I've looked through these postings and the settings on my iPhone and don't see anything that talks about this ...

wow thanks for that link.

i was disappointed when i first discoved that my calls were going to voice mail while i was watching you tube. i didn't know that was part of the plan. especially when in the apple commercial a call comes in and interupts the you tube viewing (you know the one with the skateboading dog). talk about false and misleading advertisement...

i didn't have to worry about missing a call on used my treo, but my treo didn't play video and surf the net as the iphone does. at least there's virtual voicemail to bring us surfers up to speed.

This is normal, but fixable.
It is just a complication to the iphone
When using an application if you get a call you will see the prompt pop up if you have alowed this in your general settings.
when you see this prompt go ahead and press "DISMISS". THEN press the answer button at the bottom and you will be connected to your caller without them going to voice mail.
That took alot of calls phone to phone to figure out. Hehe. Hope this helps.
