support updates v1.1 of/for 10.4.10 and AudioUpdate posted

Apple support has posted audioUpdate and version 1.1 of intel 10.4.10 for all intel macs.

they say it fixes new audio problems.

Apparently the audio update is the major change from v1 of Mac OSX 10.4.10 intel

to add a question: have you checked out the newest support download and has the audioupdate solved your audio problems?

The update did not fix the crackling sounds from my MBP. Was this update for a different audio problem and will another one come out soon?

This AudioUpdate is dated today 2 Jul.

Both the v1.1 of MacOSX 10.4.10 intel are just posted 2 jul

they say that the updates are just for the intel macs.

I don't know if this is your reference.

Installing Audio Update 2007-001
This update is available via Software Update, and as a standalone update from Apple Support Downloads.
This update can be installed only if the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update client (or Universal Server) update is already installed.
Note: Version 1.1 of the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update is not affected by this issue and does not require the Audio Update 2007-001 update.
