sync with Sony Ericsson W880

The Sony Ericsson W880i can already be synced using an iSync Phone Plugin from:

This is related, but my question relates to music on the W880i - not sure where I should put this post.

Anyway, I have had difficulties in getting music on the W880. The software doesn't support Macs, and drag and drop results in a very mixed bag in terms of what works

Is there another solution or some software that would help?

You mean they won't play, or won't copy, or aren't accepted by the phone, or don't show up in the music player after copying?

Mounting the memory stick on the desktop and using the Finder to copy or sending files by bluetooth shouldn't give any problems.

What types of files are you trying to copy?

You know that tracks purchased from the iTunes Store won't work don't you? (Unless they are iTunes plus tracks).

The files I am trying to copy are music files. None were purchased iTunes tracks. Some show up and play, others don't show up (although I can see them as being on the MemoryStick in the Finder). Also, only some of the playlists transferred, whilst in some cases the songs made it over, but not the list.

The method I used was dragging the files over, using the finder, as you suggested.
