Can't launch hot sync for Palm, error -4960

I have recently upgraded to Safari 3.0.2 and after the first restart, at start up, I got an error message reading:
Transport Monitor.
Could not complete your request. (-4960)

After upgrading to Safari 3.0.1 this error message window didn't show up, so I'm guessing it has to do with the 3.0.2 update. This window keeps showing up at every startup.

Even trying to manually start the transport monitor (Palm Desktop 4.2.1) or reinstalling the Palm Desktop doesn't help. I also tried finding an old version of Safari 2 on the net to revert back to the earlier version, but couldn't find one.

I also tried uninstalling the Safari 3 Beta, but even with reverting to S2, the message is still displayed after I log in.

Any ideas on what to do on this?
