How to remove unsent mail from mail queue?

I have a mail item that I am unable to send. I get the error message discussed in other threads that the sender's address was rejected by the server. That particular error message is not of interest to me - what IS of interest is: How can I remove that piece of mail that is stuck in the queue? I want to delete it but I don't see how I can get at it? There is no outbox that I can open up to remove it from.

Any help?

When I received that 'rejected by server' error, it
did place the message in an outbox. (The outbox is
not visible until a message is placed there.)

To delete it, I went:

Mail > Accounts > Account in Question > Outbox >
Message in Question > Garbage Can Icon (Bottom -
Middle)

I don't find the same info on my iPhone. When I go to mail>accounts and then select the account in question there is no outbox visible...just account information and then advanced. BTW, this whole section is in the settings pane and then I scroll down to mail and then start.

What am I doing wrong?

You would delete from within the Mail Program, not
Settings.

Follow the path I listed previously starting with the
main Mail icon on the bottom of your home screen.

When I open up the mail program and go the account in question (I'm only using one right now), there is NO outbox.... just: Inbox, Sent, Trash, Deleted Messages and Junk E-mail.
