iPhone stopped connecting to wifi

I've been running with my router's WEP security disabled and my iPhone has been connecting fine to the wifi no problems... until today. Suddenly will no longer pick up my home wifi even with security disabled. It picks up the other free network on my street, but on mine it instantly defaults to EDGE. I've tried rebooting the phone, rebooting the router, switching in and out of airplane mode... can anyone help me figure out the problem?

Where is says "Choose a Network..." it will search and stop, search and stop. Nothing. This phone is really starting to **** me off. First the photos and that still dosen't work, now the wifi. whats next!! Apple support.. you have to be crazy to wait on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins. At$T store.. three just as lost as any one else.

I'm having the same problem. It was working fine on my home wifi network (Apple Airport Extreme N). This am the iPhone would not connect to wifi network. The settings showed that the phone was connected, however internet/mail functions would not work. I turned off wi-fi on the phone. And tried to restart wifi to no avail.

I used the "edge network" for about an hour, and then turned on wi-fi. Now it is working on the Airport network, but this is a real pain...

My iPhone does the same thing once in a while. Putting it into Airport mode for a few minutes and switching Airport mode off again usually clears it up. I never have this issue with my MacBook, they'll probably clear it up with an update. I connecting to a couple of wireless routers, a DLink DI-524 and an first gen Apple Airport.

Has anyone exchanged there phone due to this problem? I reset network settings two days ago and solved the problem. Then today it is not going to wifi at home, but only edge. I am concerned and dont know if I should exchange the phone. I am worried this will keep happening and have read that this is probably a hardware issue that software updates will not fix. What to do??

I've done it all airport mode full reset / restore from ITunes and on the phone its self. Also reset my Wifi router. Nothing, all it dose is search and search and nothing is ever found. I hope that what ever update they put out it fixes all these problems.. Its crazy that i've paid 600 bucks for a phone that i have to bust my @ss to fix.. I know that no one forced me to buy it. But still this is pretty sad. I just hope that every thing is fixed soon.

AND I STILL CAN'T UPLOAD PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bah..

Phone still looks cool tho.. =)
