Some weird things at Safari

Some things at Safari 3.0 Beta for Win looks weird here. First of all, the anti-aliasing is **** strange! It's SO different from the one used at other browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera.

Other things I miss are some so-basic shortcuts, like using "backspace" to go back in the tab history, or using Ctrl+Tab to switch between tabs. Moreover, I have some trouble when posting in boards using the Invision system using the "Fast Reply". My written message is cut in the posting moment. Only about the 10 first letters are posted.

Some minor missing features that other browsers has would be also great if added, like a change of color on rollover on combo boxes.

Expect Apple can solve that problems and improve Safari. Altrough Safari is the fastest browser, Opera is more friendly, and I would love to get that friendly interface, commands and other stuff here at Safari.

Safari uses Mac font smoothing technology. Read an article about differences between Mac and Windows ways: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2007/06/12.html

Apple developers considering adding the most common Windows browser shortcuts to Safari for Windows. Backspace is already implemented in Webkit Nightly. Check this article: http://webkit.org/blog/110/safari-on-windows-keyboard-and-mouse-shortcuts/

This is know issue. The text inside textarea boxes are cut to the first non-ascii letter. I reported the bug to http://bugreport.apple.com The bug should be fixed in future versions of Safari.
