Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter; need the driver for OS 10.3 Please.

I can't find the driver for my;

Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter

for my iBook; Mac os 10.3.9.

- iBook G3 - Motorola RAZR - iPod Video - Google/Doodle Addict-, Mac OS X (10.3.9), WWW.MYSPACE.COM/LIFETHRASHER

It seems that there are two models, the F5D7050 and the HP4050. Neither is listed as being Mac-compatible.

Here is a type of "Universal" Driver for the USB Network adapters for mac.

download the one called ''USB
(RT257x/RT2671)''

Should work.

Well, I tried. I stopped trying when the specifications on Belkin's site did not list any Mac compatibility.

I'm glad you found the answer. Hope it works for you.

I have the AirPort card, myself, and it works great. Sometimes you can find a good deal on them. I've bought two of them for $50 each.

I could find a driver for the FSD6050:

But did not have the Ralink Technology link for the newer models. Sorry.

So do you have the F5D7050? I was just about to buy one (my wireless on my iBook went and I can only get wireless connection on and off) and the box said it wasn't Mac compatable so I didn't. But if you have a Mac and it works then I will.

I use a Belkin USB Adpter for my network, it is the model F5D9050, it works great and only paid around $50 for it, the driver was not on the disc like it said, but you download it from their webpage. I hope that wil help you out.
