iPhone and Mercedes Benz hands-free bluetooth

I would really appreciate it if you could tell me how to "pair" my new iphone with an ML350 with the bluetooth "puck". My old razr worked fine and I cannot seem to get the car to recognize the phone. Thanks for any help!!!

It works with the puck...access code 62872.

However, reconnecting after leaving the car is not reliable. Sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn't. Turning the iPhone on and off sometimes resolves the problem. Hoping for a bluetooth update here.

I am having trouble with my Merecedes recognizing my iPhone. I paired it and the phone is "authorized" with the car, but when I try to connect the two, the screen for the phone flashes and then disappears saying "no phone". It worked fine with my Blackberry but won't connect to the iPhone. Can anyone help?

I have the MB Multi Handset Interface with the latest Bluetooth "puck". Pairs fine, voice quality decent.

One nice bonus is how fast the contact directory loads now. With a V600 directly in the cradle(no BT) it could take up to five minutes to load about 30 contacts. With the iPhone usings BT it loads four times as many contacts in just seconds.

As far as reconnecting when getting back in the car, mine always reconnects and at least loads the recents, but not always the directory, unless the iPhone is fully on.

Has anyone found a good way to check voicemail within this setup? I haven't fugured out how to connect to vmail via the MB controls. Or, if I connect using the iPhone directly, I cannot get the audio to play through the MB.

Also, have you noticed what happens when you try the old speed dial function through the MB keypad?

Somewhat similar scenario..i was paired & it worked well for 3 wks. now it says.."no phone"
it has to get some updates for sure.
it is a great fone & fab car, but it should be able to do this ...afterall they do the IPOD integration...C'mon Steve, share the info so we can connect to our Oh So Special IPHONE!!

i forgot to add...my fone will not even recognize the bluetooth device in the car..it will not allow me to put in a passkey..no place to enter.
it was paired b4 as i said above so i know it is possible!!

Yes, the pairing with the MB was easy and all features work, including address book.

what is the mercedes setup you have? is this with a BT adapter? and if so, which one?

I too would be interested to know if it works with the bluetooth puck

I have a 2007 Mercedes CLS 550. There's a bluetooth adapter. It worked fine with my razr, but I can't get it to read my iphone. Why? Thanks.

I paired it with the UConnect in my 2008 Dodge Avenger with no problem. Works like a charm. Took all of about 90 seconds to get it going.
